Year of Polish Challenge Catch Up: Rock Star Nails aka Week 29

While grad school has been kicking my butt this summer semester, my nail art/blog/facebook/and overall pouring over other nail art blogs and images has suffered.

I decided I couldn't skip the 5 weeks that I've missed of the year of Polish challenge so I am making them up when I can and getting back on track.....until grad school kicks my butt again!

Here's my quick Rock Star mani with Pretty and Polished's Punk'd Up Betty.

Plaid, Rock Star nails

I was looking to add a little something to the plaid design Ive been doing lately and saw some bedding online that inspired me to do some hot pink and black plaid, rocker style nails. 

Polishes Used:

Sinful Colors Secret Admirer-base color all nails

Wet N Wild Pink-plaid stripes

Insta-Dri's Whirlwind White-white lettering, star base, heart n crossbone's base

Revlon's Gold Coin-star and heart color

Kiss Nail Art Black-star and heart outline

Xtremewear's Celeb City-studs on white letters



Pretty good for a first try.  I may work to perfect this design but overall, I love it.
