Latest Polishes, Solvent Resistant Glitter, and a Swatch!

Between a late night shopping spree at Sally's and some nail mail, this past week has been good for the polish business and  not too terrible on my wallet!

Sally's had their China Glaze Crackles on sale for $1.50 so I grabbed one of each color I could find!  Crackle polishes were never a bandwagon I jumped on (much like kaviar nails and magnetic polishes) but I did have a recent Year of Polish Challenge week that I thought I had to skip because I didn't own any crackles.   Went back and did that week and it was passable ;0)

e.l.f.  had a sale on select polishes so I grabbed these three from their website:)

Sally's also had Finger Paints Fall 2012 Collection out so I grabbed the plum and the bar glitter ones... I am a sucker for purple and blue polishes so I had to try on Plum Startled right away!

Androgynie and Fowl Play were finally restocked again at Sally's so I snapped them up too!

Ruby Kisses HD Glitters are very pretty.   I am relatively sure that they aren't 3 free but they are a good start for those of you with small budgets:)  If you know me, you know that I enjoy discount polishes just as much as my indies and my boutique polishes:)

AbsolutLacquer had a mystery, custom polish offer on Etsy so I told her my likes and she sent me this beauty and its named after me!  Teal with holographic hearts!  I can't wait to wear it!

I ordered a solvent glitter sampler from the Glitter Source on Etsy.  These were about $12.  Now I have to order suspension base AND bottles.  lol...I suppose I should take a break from buying polishes and focus on polish making supplies but I am thinking I can do both ;0)

I scored Daul for $0.01 on Copious.  I know, I am a lucky lucky girl...its soooo eye catching!

Anyway, even as I write this I have another blog post full of more polishes to show you.   I am glad I don't make myself swatch each one or I'd have to quit my day job to do so!

Zoya nail mail, Sally and Target run, and a Copious score with some swatches!

I finally got my full size Zoyas in from the buy 3 for $15 sale.  I love everything about these polishes.  They are girly and gorgeous and so pigmented. Check out Wednesday and Rory swatches below!

I went to Sally's the other night and found these two lovelies.  All the swatches I've seen look amazing and I was pretty put out not to find Sashay My Way but trust me, I'm keeping a look out for it.  Meanwhile, I do have these gorgeous glitters to work with so oh happy day!

I found this bottle of OPI's Just Spotted the Lizard on Copius and I handily had a $10 credit so I only paid about 22cents for this polish!  Its actually getting hard to find so I am thrilled to find a full size!

Last, I had a late night trip to Target to buy a bike tube, tire pump, and bike bell and stumbled across this beauty sitting with some chips on a shelf.  It had a clearance sticker for about $2 and purple is one of my weaknesses so it came home to live with me!

So getting the Zoyas in made me want to try them immediately.  I painted one hand with Zoya's Rory and all of my toes.  I still felt it needed something so I topped Rory with The Polish Bar's Satellite.
Kinda reminds me fondly of Candy Shop!

The last two photos show how insanely hot Wednesday is.  I cannot get enough of tealish green blue polishes and this one is so perfect.  What nail art does it inspire you to do?  I'm thinking fields of daisies or something equally ethereal!

Late January Polish Haul..The best so far!

A friend, her teenage daughter, and I had a crafty night last night that turned into nail polish madness. We went to Ulta and I bought the Austin-tacious Turquiose and Nicki Minaj Save Me glitter by OPI.  I also had to have Orly's Space Cadet.

This morning I hit a local K-mart with my husband and we were quite taken aback with how abandoned the whole place looked.  But I was on a mission to see if I could get some of the Jordana glitters.

While at K-mart, also picked up the above polishes.   The hard to find Gem Crush Lady Luck magenta and silver glitter.  All the displays I keep finding only have six of the Gem Crush colors.  I also grabbed a Jordana polish with glitter called Purple Glam.  Last, I grabbed two Milani glitters in Teal and Lavender.
